Shaun is an Associate and leads our Commercial/Dispute Resolution work.
Shaun graduated from the University of Waikato in 1999 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Management Studies (First Class Honours), majoring in Economics.
In April 2005, Shaun took up his current role with Nielsen Law, having previously worked for the Ministry of Economic Development and a private firm specialising in insolvency and fraud investigation.

- Commercial contracts
- Sporting contracts
- Charitable organisations
- Insolvencies and corporate recoveries
- Weathertight Homes Claims
- Dispute resolution and litigation, including:
- Commercial disputes
- Debt recovery
- Employment disputes
- Tax litigation
Shaun is married with three children. Away from work, Shaun enjoys spending time with his family, including spending countless hours coaching and supporting his children in their various sporting endeavours. Shaun’s other passion is cricket, being involved in playing, coaching and administration of the game. Shaun is also the Chair of his children’s primary school Board of Trustees.
